TOX Cosmetic Injections
The lines that appear on your face actually result from muscle movement and the passage of time. Underneath your skin, your facial muscles contract and cause a pleating of the overlying skin. After years of crinkling and wrinkling, those lines start to linger longer and can become more pronounced. Dynamic lines caused by overactive muscles can be treated with Xeomin®, BOTOX®, or Daxxify® Cosmetics.
Very low doses of Xeomin®, BOTOX®, or Daxxify® Cosmetics are administered through a few tiny injections into the muscles at the sites of wrinkle formation. Xeomin®, BOTOX®, or Daxxify® Cosmetics relax the underlying muscle. The effects are localized and do not affect your ability to smile, laugh or show expression.
The treatment procedure takes 10-minutes, no post procedure downtime. Discomfort is minimal and brief. No anesthesia is required; topical anesthetic cream and/or cold packs are available prior to injecting if desired.
You can expect to see results two to seven days after treatment. Results can last up to 4 months. Your own results may vary. If you're pleased with the results of a Xeomin®, BOTOX®, or Daxxify® Cosmetic treatment, you'll probably want to get on a treatment schedule so you can stay satisfied. If you discontinue treatment, the frown lines between your brows gradually will look like they did before treatment.
Things to know before getting Cosmetic Injections (Xeomin®, BOTOX®, or Daxxify®):
Do NOT use Cosmetic Injections if you:

Have an infection where Xeomin®, BOTOX®, or Daxxify® Cosmetic will be injected

Are allergic to any of the ingredients in Xeomin®, BOTOX®, or Daxxify® Cosmetic

Are pregnant or think you might be pregnant
Before starting treatment, tell your providers if you:

Have any diseases that affect your nerves and muscles. These diseases may increase your chance of side effects with Xeomin®, BOTOX®, or Daxxify® Cosmetic treatment.

Are breastfeeding

Are planning to become pregnant soon
Be sure that your provider knows the names of all the medicines you are using, including:

Antibiotics used to treat infections, such as gentamicin, tobramycin, clindamycin, and lincomycin

Medicines used to treat heart rhythm problems, such as quinidine
-
Medicines used to treat different conditions, such as myasthenia gravis or Alzheimer’s disease.
As with all prescription medicines, you should also notify your doctor if you are taking any over-the-counter medicines or herbal products.
